Didn't have another one to try. I tried again on ANOTHER computer and it didn't work. I have a feeling it's a bad USB port. RMA here we come!

Had this happen to me recently. Took the battery out of the MX-880 and put it back in. Worked fine.

Did that too. Tried connecting with and without the battery, tried defaulting the remote, etc. I don't think I could've tried anything else, unless you know a Shaman who is familiar with either URC or Windows device drivers. :)

I found this to be an issue with a lot of remotes. Just because the usb works with some equipment doesn't mean it is good. Always use quality cables!
