I can't find any info. Can you control a Bose V30 from a third party IR control system?

Pretty sure it uses the same IR codes as the 3-2-1 system.

Edit: Just checked URC's CCP and it has all the codes.  You should be good.

Cool, thanks.

You never know if Bose bothered to put an IR sensor on their stuff or not.

We just got an email from them about their revamped home theater line. It had a big note about (paraphrased) "make sure you watch the webinar because the wiring and amplifiers work completely differently from the current models." Gee, I'm shocked. :-/

Yes, very new indeed! Actually quite gorgeous and a very cool OSD that makes the system even easier to use. to painfully easy for us CI's =)

It now excepts all the new digital audio formats, that is the reason for the new wiring. and all the new ones have IR control like before.

Overall a very nice new and much needed update for Bose, they also have included ipod docks that display information on the remote including RDS if listening to the radio.

Training yesterday was more interesting then informative because all the new stuff can be summed up in a 15min webinar. Bose did their own inhouse research as to why our industry got hit so hard which was most of our time.

There is an IR sensor in the display,
and the IR codes are the same as the lifestyle 18, 25, 35 & 48.

For the Bose V30 the best set of codes are from the 3.2.1 GSX, however the
Only One Remote database has a really good set of working codes for the
V series
