This is definitely exciting. I'm curious to see what the price points are. I REALLY hope it doesn't take them 2 years to roll out these new processors. It sounds like the XP3/6 will be smaller versions of the XP8, which is what we've needed.

Plus the iPhone app needs to be out very soon. With C4, Prodigy and even Savant getting in at lower prices, many small systems are squashing want RTI can do at those prices. Sure once you get an XP8 they're competitive, but below that, its a tough sale IMO.

If they are smaller versions I would have to say they are more than half way there.....like duplicating the system file...duplicate the xp8 and tweek!!!!! lol

If RTI can follow through with these new items they will be hard to beat.

I'd be more excited but I just had to replace a client's 3 year old T4 that died and another client just called yesterday saying his T2Cs just died as well.

Looks like good stuff but then again... so did the last round of new stuff...

Can anyone explain what they mean by a higher resolution VGA display? Unless they are referring to WVGA (800×480), VGA means (640x480). Maybe the article should be stating that the VGA screen is updated to OLED? I just don't understand what the upgrade is regarding the T3-V+ Screen.

I love the idea of dual transmitters; I thought that this was major omission when the ZigBee was introduced.

The XP-3 should be 433MHz, 422MHz does not make any sense.

We need rack ears for all processors!!

Only if the new T2cs oled and T3v could be as robust and reliable as their inwall then RTI'd be P.E.R.F.E.C.T!!

I think that's a mistake too. Per the cut sheet, the T3-V and T3-V+ screens are identical (and not OLED). The additions to the T3-V+ appear to be new hard buttons that can be customized (engraved), improved WiFi performance, and the combination of 433 MHz and 2.4 GHz technologies.

The RK3-V was just late to upgrade to VGA.

RK3 = T3 = QVGA (240x320)
RK3-V = T3-V = T3-V+ = VGA (480x640)
