Hi All,
Is there a universal remote out there that will learn anything thats input into it, including Sony's crazy long Receiver Surround Mode Codes?

I've purchased a Sony RMAV3000 and a Home Theater Master MX-800 with NO LUCK. Funny the remote manufacturers failed to mention these slight flaws in their "Wow This is the One you Need" advertisements.

The RMAV3000 will learn the sound field commands, but has no place to create your own buttons for the amount needed.

I'm sick of throwing my money down the can.
Is there a unit out there that can learn ALL of my
remotes features?????????

Theater Equip:
Sony STR-DA5000ES Receiver
Sony DVP-CX985V 400 disc DVD/CD player
Sony SLV-R1000 VCR
Sony RDR-DX7 DVD Recorder/Player
Sony A2 DSS DirecTV Receiver
Phillips DSR708 DirecTV/Tivo Receiver

Um.... The MX-800 Database already has all the Soundfield codes. No need to learn them.... Just use the DA-7ES codeset.

Thanks, I hope you are right. I've tried the first fifteen or so files and I thought I tried all of the ES line receiver files and none worked. I was about to give up.

Again Thanks

I just tried the DA-7ES and about 15 other codesets and none will work on my Str-DA5000ES

Does anyone know the proper codeset or a Remote that will learn my Sony Remote Surround Codes?
