depends on your processor, but no...not to the projector...

the processor MAY allow it, on a pass through setting...again, depending on which generation of processor you've got.

Yes you can!
Your Runco is basically a Barco and barco makes software that is free to download from their site "projector control software standard edition" I have used it many times works great, gives you discrete control of sources and power on off.

If you need discrete RS 232 codes for your prjector let me know!

Looks like we have 2 different answers to the 2 different questions Stuarts may have been asking.

Do you want the projector to display the computer's VGA graphics onscreen, or do you want to use the PC to control the projector?

According to the specs, yes, you can do both. Just don't let your graphics card settings exceed the projector's capabilities.

sorry stuart let me clarify

control it...yes to either the projector or the processor, via RS-232

display a pc...ONLY through the pass through on the processor, and setting it to "computer"

I suppose you could try a breakout cable from VGA-BNC and go directly into the projector, but I wouldn't. 1) you would use the rest of your sources cause you'd be disconnecting that cable and 2)they advise you to got through the processor...so they must know!

Yes you can plug you computers VGA output right into the 5 BNC on the back of the projector by using a breakout cable with no problems. I have done this many times.
