I have a pronto TSU 3000 and a Dish network Echo Star 301 receiver.

The codes have been learning into the pronto from the remote of the Echo Star since the codes on remote central didn't work. All codes work with the exception of the up,down, left, right and the number keys.

With the pronto connected to the computer, I can test the codes through the pronto and they will work.
I also can upload the config file from the pronto to the computer and the codes are in the pronto.

But... when I try to use the codes directly from the pronto itself, it does not work.

Thanks for any help in advance.

David

i recently programmed a 301 into a 3000...didn't have any problems; i just used codes from the database. i didn't learn at all. keep in mind there are now discrete power codes in the files section here! :) i was unaware till i looked for that job.

I used a CHAD (pronto derivative) and had trouble learning the arrows as well. They were a little erratic - pause with no response and then skip up three or four lines on a menu.

I used a Xantech remote and had similar problems, different client, still Dish. I think their remote must have some unusual code.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
