I could not sleep,so I found out over night!After
change + and - center chanel sound so much better. Now
is a question- return speaker and get new one
or forget and leave it like that? Maybe it is
only bad color of two srews maybe mess in wires
inside (tweeter - midrange)? Rob
If the speaker is a three-way design, some designers connect the midrange out of phase. The Yamaha set-up may react to this situation.

Usually, speakers are hooked-up such that when battery's "+" terminal is conected to a speaker's "+" terminal, the speaker cone will jump away from the basket. I'm not aware of any "speaker police" that will enforce this. It is possible that your center speaker's internal wiring is different from the other speakers you are using.

As others have mentioned, I think your best bet is to thank the Yamaha for pointing this out and move on.
