Okay, iv successfully used S-vid quickport that use 2 pair off a cat 5. Iv also used CAT5e audio balins that passes audio a few hundred feet over a single pair of cat5 connectors.

So where is the single or double CAT5e wall plate that offers Audio + Composite/S-video.

???

I've used these and they work well:

They're passive & compact. Also, check out their other AV-over-CAT5 stuff:

If you want an active unit, check out:

There are 2 separate models, one to transmit & one to receive. Here's its' manual:

I haven't seen one of these is wallplate form, I just attach the box to the wall next to an RJ-45 jack.

I was talking with a local member who might have access to some big bandwidth and storage. We'll see what happens.

As far as the CAT5 AV stuff, i need a finished wall plate application. Typicaly, we want to integrate some PS2 and XBOX systems into some projects. I want to give them a clean simple plug in app.

I know i can use levitons s-vid quickports, but i thought a while back i saw a single gang decora plate that had a 110 style punch block on the backside and 2 Audio + 1 Vid jack on the front side.

I guess i can try making something. Those lil audio balins, whats inside of them?

Check with AudioPlex Technologies. i'm pretty sure they have what you are looking for.
