I've found & used some for Denon previously...

I am trying to use a great room surround system as an externally amplified zone via the variable preamp output for a Nuvo Grand Concerto zone 7 into aux 2 in the Marantz.

Most of the Marantz codes seem to be the same. Have looked in URC code library some, but not through the whole Marantz files.

Admittedly, I am being lazy, but was hoping someone had some handy to copy & paste.

Please?

Erik

download this file:

download this software to open the pcf file:
[Link: us.marantz.com]

you will end up with a file that will have a code for each discrete volume code.  such as:

0dB
0000 0071 0000 0020 0040 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 00C1 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0AAB 0040 0040 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 00C1 0040 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0040 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 0020 04B0

if you can't figure it out, let me know what volume level you want, and I will copy/paste it for you.

I have downloaded the code sheet from Marantz, thank you very much!!

So now how can I unprotect the sheet so I can open the cells in the word doc? It's asking for a password.

I appreciate the offer to just paste & copy for me, but I would like to be able to learn somethin' here also.

Thanks again, Duct Tape!

Are you talking about the .xls Excel Format File?

You don't need any password.

Cheers

I am sorry, yes, I was referring to the excel file. When I try to open an individual cell it prompts me for a password.

try copying the whole document into a new document.

but you do realize that you could have copied and pasted each individual discrete volume code from the .pcf file I linked to in about 5 minutes right?

Ducttape, I am struggling here. First, I missed the second link to the marantz editor you provided! whoops

I am trying , but not knowing the software at all, I do not know how to navigate or open the code files within the editor. I do know some of URC's editors fairly well, however.

I will nail down which specific volume level will work best for my application & get back to you. I can definitely copy & paste from here into a mx-980 editor & take it from there.

I was truly thinking I could figure it out on my own & perhaps I still should so I can convert files in the future. It appears that the Marantz editor is maybe like Pronto?
