Has anyone had the problem (which Bose has acknowledged exists) of interference from a plasma (Marantz 4292d) and a Bose 35 Lifestyle system (RF remote). I simply cannot get the Bose remote to turn on (or operate any function of) the Bose system anymore. Bose sent a new remote, which worked for 1 day, then nada. Bose suggested a third party power interference suppressor for the plasma, but would not give a product name. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried switching the operation over to an infrared remote. There are two different Pronto files for newer and older versions of the Bose console software.

To verify the software on your system:
1. Turn off the system.
2. Hold down the STORE button on the front.
3. While holding STORE, press ENTER.
4. Write down the code displayed.

Alternatively, is there any chance of swapping the system out for an older (LifeStyle 20,25,or30) system? You could use an Audio Authority interface w/ a plasma friendly infrared receiver.
