I have a customer with a DV-09 and just got a DV-47Ai...it seems the codes for every command are the same. He wants to use both players in his system, with an RC5200...any suggestions on how this can work?

Thanks!

Check out Xantech's RT8 addressible router and their RC68+ programmer. I am getting into a project where I will need to control a couple of TVs and Sat boxes in the same room contolled by a TSU 6000. I spoke with their tech support and they said I should be fine.

Price was not a factor in this project so I am not sure of the costs off the top of my head.

Like I said I am just getting into the project so I have not worked out all the details as of yet. The equipment will be going in sometime this week and then I will get to play with the programming.

Anybody have any experience with this setup??

I just finished a conference room with an RT-16 controlling 6 of the same JVC TV's, 4 or the same Sat Receivers and 2 of the same DVD/VCR combo units. Works flawlessly everytime, OH and yeah it's being controlled with an RC-5200 with a Dinkylink, I didn't trust trying to make the RX-77 work

It is always good to know somebody else had a good experience with the gadgets you are about to work with.

Any tricks to the programming the remote. Did you have to assign an IR address for each function or does it remember the last address it used. For example, when changing channels with 1 TV do I need to create a link for each function or can I get away with 1 link for each device. I believe the software is similar (TSU6000), I think I might mean alias instead of link. I hope you get what I am asking.

Thanks,

Roddy

Just add an RX-77 to the system. Save your client the $100. Use a Xantech cover over the IR emmitter so the IR from the 09 wont hit the 47, and set the 47 to RF control

$100 less than the RT8, and easier to program

Now.. If you had 3-8 Pioneer DVD players, the RT-8 would be great.....

Perfect...was late and I should have thought of that :).

Thanks for the other suggestions as well, may help with future applications.
