I have a client with a Panasonic TUHDS20. Soon after we set it up, it lost several HD stations (Los Angeles area).

I found that repeated channel scans were not successful, even though I have no other client receivers with this problem, so do not suspect signal strength.

In addition, he is connected to cable and no matter what I do, I cannot delete cable channels from the channel list. This leaves him with, for instance, NBC 2 from the antenna, then from cable, then from satellite, all in a row, with me unable to edit them.

Any clues? I think I am following instructions!

Thanks.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I had a problem recently with that model, one I sold about a year and a half ago lost a bunch of hd stations on the guide, I tried eveything, I even went so far as to call Panascramic's tech support (futility at it's best), in the end I sent it in and they want $615 to fix it. I laughed, and set the guy up with a Zenith 520hd, now he doesn't have to wait ten seconds after every button push for the box to respond either.

So the short answer..."Run Screaming"

Wow. What more can I say?

Except to add a note from a colleague about another one of these that I had forgotten about --

After the Panasonic service department kept this unit for several weeks and could not find any problem with it, they sent it back. We could then not complete a channel scan at startup. It ran at a different percentage of the scan each time, but never completed.
