Yo guys,
I'm onsite working on an Intellicontrol...
Last night I had to reload my OS on my laptop...
I backed everything up, and all was good...file is still here, but I have lost the IR library entries...
Of course I have all of the ones on the intellifile disk...but none of the ones in the program...
My question is...is there something I'm missing that will or won't allow me to LOAD the fully funtional program on my laptop...and extract the files into the IR database from within the program, or am I stuck re-learning and essentially re-programming the ENTIRE system?
HELP!

You can pull the original file out of the MSU, it will have the ir commands embedded in it. You won't be able to reload them into a library, and the command names will be lost, but the commands themselves will be there.

thanks jc...that's what I was afraid of...
I have the file (backed it up) but somehhow didn't get the updated IR library...
I did try pulling it out of the msu, but alas, as you mentioned...couldn't re-generate them into the ir library...
I was hoping there was a workaround...
thanks

You can copy and paste the IR files directly into the Niles folder on your laptop. If you have a backup copy, you can just "select all", the copy and paste the files into the Niles folder. We do this all the time when tranferring codes.
