I would appreciate anyones advice,
I'm having to switch from the Marantz RC5200 to the Philips ProntoNG (TSU3000) because Marantz have suddenly decided to discontinue the model and don't expect the new one until Jan.
I haven't used the NG software so far.
If anyone uses both these remotes then what are the differences in programming / flaws / limitations and so on.
i.e. what should I expect to be different.

There isn't a whole lot of difference, though I like the NG better- you can group buttons, copy pages, etc.
