Have been crazy about Zero 7 (but only their first two albums, "Simple Things" and "When it Falls", plus the EP "Sessions @ AOL") for a while now. Check out this acoustic masterpiece:

The singer (Sophie Barker) is not too hard on the eyes, either!

wow whatta weekend for music for me!! i started off listening to probably the best hiphop album of the decade, DJ Marco Polo feat. Torae....16 unbelievable joints. The best part is....it was a whole album, most guys do cameos w other artists and only have on verse and its pretty much a stupid mix, but not here. Well there was cameos but not like it is today, it was just a verse. this kid is unbelievable!! ditributed off the much inie label of DuckDown Records my other favs.... then proceeded to listen to Buckshot & KRS ONE "Survival Skills" also off of Duck Down Records. 2 must haves for xmas.

then also listened to 2 of my old buddies albums which are new..ED OG & Masta ACE also hooked up together to do an album which the first single is awesome its called "little Young", where they ridicule music (rap) today of not being original anymore and everyone being called little wayne, lil flip, young berg, young one etc.....its pretty dope song, and true as well

I'll have to go check it out. I would never know because I am not a fan of any new rap thats out. Dedicated old school. I think Rakims the best that ever did it. I just wish that album he was doing on aftermath would have been released.

My "let's stay platonic" girlfriend stuck some Coolio in the ol car stereo the other night... I think that's why my car died.

If you're looking for an unbelievable BluRay music experience, check out Spectacle with Elvis Costello.

The audio on one of the Diana Krall performances is so crisp you can hear the metal piano pedal clicking on the floor.

The video is also superb.

Taking it back a few years.
I'm listening to a little Emerson, Lake & Palmer – Brain Salad Surgery and enjoying a nice stiff after Christms drink with a TriTip and Linguisa on the BBQ.

I saw Emerson, Lake & Palmer do Brain Salad Surgery in 1977 at the San Diego Sports Arena. I still listen to it from time to time.

Today I enjoyed Jimi Hendrix - Axis: Bold as Love. Love it....brings back old memories.

Listened to a little Hey Marseilles. The drummer is our tech. He is in Austin where they are cutting a new album.

Good musicianship, but not my cup of tea...
