I was disappointed in no Ratdog Florida tour this year. Oh well.
moe. opened for Ratdog at the St. Augustine Amphitheater this summer.
Jam > Playin in the Band > Cold Rain and Snow, Silvio > Tequila > Silvio > Tequila > Silvio > Althea, Lost Sailor > Saint of Circumstance, A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall@, Looks Like Rain@, Mississippi Half-Step* > Stuff > Dear Prudence* > Throwing Stones > Johnny B. Goode *-with Chuck Garvey (Guitar) (moe. opened)
It was a great show at a killer venue located in a state park on the Florida intercoastal waterway.

You should have taken a road trip....
I wanted to, but if I remember right it was a Sunday night, and I had to take the following Friday off so I could not take Monday off. The past few years they have done a Tampa/St Pete - Orlando - Ft. Myers - Boca trip in November but not this year.
For all the DH, check out the Sirius/XM Grateful Dead channel, it is fantastic. They played one of the recent Further shows last night and it sounded awesome. They are constantly playing great soundboards on this station 24x7. I am liking the sound of Further a little more than "the Dead" right now.

...and a taper!
I listened to Steve Kimock Band all day. He played with all of the Grateful Dead family bands....Bob Weir/Ratdog, Phil Lesh & Friends, Rhythm Devils. Unconscious improvisation.
Not a taper myself, but half the folks I know are. I'm surprised at all the Dead love going on here, thought I was a minority. Apparently, moe. just came through Houston and I didn't hear about it in time.
I've been really giving a lot of time to my 77-78 Dead shows lately. And of course, my 97 Panic has been in constant rotation lately. That handful of soundboards from 97 are some of the most loved shows in my collection.
Lord loves a workin' man; don't trust whitey; see a doctor and get rid of it.

Finally got a chance to listen to the new DMB album in one sitting! Love my office system, I can get lost in there!
Totem THE ONES Bel Canto S300iU Bel Canto CD2
blue, I don't know if I hate you or love you but, I know that I'm jealous. I have a number of Totem products throughout the home but, I'd kill for The Ones. Paired with the Bel Canto, you're killin' it!
As for what am I listening to? I never stray far from Fugazi's catalog and I've been listening to a lot of X, Ramones, The Bronx, Refused, Talking Heads, Husker Du and even some older Primus lately. Throw in Pink Floyd to keep me centered and finish every day with Parker, Coltrane, or Davis...
"Just when I thought that I was out they pull me back in"
I listened to a lil KRS ONE! If u haven't folowed this guys career, u should read up! This guy is a pioneer, and is in his 40's and still doin it. Changes w the times and adapts, and creates something new everytime he steps in the booth

Thanks! You might as well go straight to the hate - seems to be the going rate these days! :)
