Anyone found a source for DVI wallplates, such that I can bury a DVI cable in a wall, yet have a built-in look? Haven't found anything at Extron or anywhere else. I must not be looking in the right places??

You probably haven't found them, because DVI is not meant to have long runs. I believe the longest cable you can get is 12 meters and they suggest you don't have a run longer than that. In my opinion, I wouldn't want anymore contact points with DVI other than at the unit, and at the display.

Thanks, McNasty - run will only be about 20 feet.
No replies from anyone else . . . perhaps there just aren't any on the market

Ooop's that note might have sounded grumpy, not meant to, I figured I will need one of these very soon anyway, so I looked it up for myself (and to help here) .

Of course I first used Google - a search for "DVI wallplate" returns many results, but not the Datapro link you were kind enough to share.
Thanks for the help.

Also try www.panelcrafters.com and www.libertycable.com. I was just at a road show where they displayed a DVI to DVI adaptor on a single-gang plate (also available in any other custom configuration you can think of).

When I figure out how to post images* on this forum, I will share with you Bart Simpson standing in front of a chalkboard filled with repetitions of "I will not ask any more stupid questions without doing a google search...."
