So I finally broke down and downloaded the CCP software. It wasn't by choice, I was forced to. I programmed an MX880 remote in the stand alone software (this old dog doesn't like new tricks), and tried to download the program into the remote but due to the fact that the firmware that was pre-loaded on it was came from CCP, I was unable to load my program onto it. I did a search on this site and have discovered the work around of how to load my program onto the remote.
My question is is there a way to take the program file that I created in the standalone software and import it into CCP? Or do I have to do the work around and load the program into the remote and then download it into the CCP software?

Carl,
You can import a file from the stand alone programs. You must first add a remote to your configuration. For good practice use the model you are importing. Click on that remote and right click to import a model. Then find your old file and bring it in. Best thing for you to do is go to the help section of CCP and read the user guides. Also use the self training videos on the URC control room website.
Good luck.

I would recommend taking a training class on CCP. It's totally different than the standalone editors. I thought I had CCP figured out and when I went to training it made CCP programming much easier.
