Free upgrade for all Apple TV's can be downloaded right now - including sweet new UI. Here is the story:

Interface looks kinda Vudu-like.

I like it. I may have to pick up an AppleTV now.

I want homeshare option on the apple TV so that if they have 3 or 4 computers it just brings all the content and playlists into a single "MY MUSIC" category

Programming a remote for the Apple TV last week, I found I couldn't get it to turn off any more by holding the MENU button (or was it play?). Had to go to settings and select stand by. Now my clients forget to turn it off an it runs all day.

Did Steve Jobs add discrete ON and OFF like we told him to?

Turn it on and go to settings. It may already be downloading it, mine was when I turned it on.

I like the new interface and the internet radio does work. There are 92 stations in the database so far.

It runs all day anyway. The "standby" only turns off the video output. Mine has been "on" for over a year now with no issues.

Looks good!

I like the layout and the quick way to get to Internet Radio.  Not yet an AVR, but internet radio is the future!

its pretty interesting,
i like the cover flow on the top of the screen.

i wish they added more features
besides internet radio , lp albums,
and advanced movies features.

but its a start.

it looks like that internet menu
has a lot of room to grow...
