Just Add Power was showing their system at CEDIA. The only problem with it is that they use compression that may cause too much resolution loss for anything over 42".

I think these guys are showing the same thing. They have simply packaged it together.

Probably good for whole house distribution to bedrooms, but I would go straight through for a home theater.

kevin - explain "picky". I know you had posted on the other forum that there was no lag in the direct digital audio and the networked video. Have you tried it with some heavy network traffic and seen any lag? Did anybody ever figure out how many keys the directv boxes can assign? Also, the number of key assigments dont matter in this setup because the encoder is locked to the key?

The good folks at Crestron figured out that there are no limits to the number of Keys that a DTV receiver will allow. Reference the document at [Link: crestron.com]

This pretty much gives HDMI over IP dealers everything they need to support a sports bar with the ultimate NFL Sunday Ticket solution.

Perhaps you missed the CEDIA video demonstration. In this case we had 5 sources and 9 screens. Watch this video and you'll see me seamlessly switching between a Blu-Ray(PS3), a couple Vudu's, an Xbox 360 video game, and an HD Camcorder.

While we were using our own in house GUI to to the switching, behind the scenes it was the exact same RS232 command sequence that is being sent in the Control4 demonstration from Blackwire.

So hows business Ed? Is the product shipping and being installed yet? What sort of pricing do you have for dealers on a couple of sets to experiment with? I need this product so i can steal Kevin's C4 customers and bring them over to Crestron :).

Ed, have you spoken to HomeLogic about an RS232 driver?
