Will is a very conservative, measured individual, and did not want to just shoot from the hip. He pondered and cogitated, and at the proper time, sent his response.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Now that's funny!

We should take heed considering they're the best flat panel installers on the eastside!

Crap.  I'm all out of popcorn.

I'll send you the address for my son's online order page for scout popcorn. I think the jalapeno cheddar tin is on sale for Christmas. :)

Funniest thing I've read today. Still chuckling.
I guarantee I'll tell you the truth and I guarantee I'll tell you what you need to know but I can't guarantee that I'll be telling you anything you want to hear.

I concur, but if a client wants Bose, I usually give them Bose. Otherwise if I sell them on a brand I prefer then I am out to prove them wrong which then is relying on the hope that they can actually hear the difference. Ah the perils of a home theater installer.

Back in 1981 I bought a pair of Bose 901s. I auditioned them against a pair of Tannoy Big Red monitors and the Bose were smaller and better.

I’ve moved 5 times since then and they have been stored in the basement/loft of the last three as the wife didn’t want them intruding in the room (they are reflective and need to be located in fairly precise location x amount of feet from the walls in order to work properly).

For their size they were pretty awesome. I have never heard any other product of theirs sound even remotely as good. I think once they got a name for themselves they invested most of their revenue in marketing rather than development.
What do you mean you wanted it on the other wall - couldn't you have mentioned this when we prewired?

He's a newbie. The first posts of A LOT of new members are responses to completely dead and buried threads. The newb doesn't notice the date of the last entry, or ignores it.

Typically, we then jump in and provide a few more responses. Then one of us notices how old the thread is and gets irritated that the newb brought it up....

This is just normal hijinks here.

There's one slightly unusual thing: the newb does not allow private messages. I wonder what that's all about.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
