Hi guys,
Has anybody had any problems with the Niles Solo keypads during installation?
I bought a new keypad for another zone wired it up and get no response. I tested the line by using a keypad from another zone and that worked fine. Also, if I turn on all zones from Zone 1, the source light for the useless keypad in the new zone lights up, but pressing the keys has no effect.
What do you reckon? Is it me r is the Keypad defective?

When they first came out I had a couple of them that were bad. They did recognize the problem and quickly addressed it. It's been over a year since I have seen a bad one. They'll swap it for you.

We install 1-2 4630 Systems a week, and have run into a few Bad Keypads. Overall a pretty decent failure rate.... Substantially better than the system we used to install.
