You know - it'd be easier not to try teaching it to swim :P

Haha...

This is going to be used on an install that I am doing on a boat. The customer wants to be able to have a remote that can hold up to the elements. I am working with a pretty much unlimited budget, but this is the only problem I am having to complete the system.

Why nobody has developed a waterproof remote is beyond me (hello universal remotes! McFly, Mcfly).
Would the Xantech Waterpad help you at all?
It's such a fine line between stupid, and clever.

Our solution of choice for pools has been the Crestron CNRFHT-30 in a fitted ziplock bag. The extra air in the bag makes it float if dropped in.

I would also cast my vote for the Crestron, since it's designed for hot tubs.
How hard can this be?
