Help! Need IR controlled speaker selector
I'm looking to develop a simple multi-room system with my AVR-7200 (HK)

I'm considering the MX-800 remote, which is RF enabled with assignable IR outputs to control the second zone...

The only caveat to my current situation is having to hardwire the "room" in zone two I'm going to listen in.

Summertime, I hardwire the Deck...winter, the library...

Until I can afford the A-bus or similar multi-zone system, I'm looking for a very basic speaker switcher...

But it needs to switch based on IR remote controls?

Does such a beast exist, thats inexpensive. I'll need 2-6 rooms of stereo.

Thanks

You may also want to take a look at the Niles Audio RVL-6. It is a remote speaker switch and volume control.
