Its been a while and I don't remeber how. I know you need the BEOLink 1000 remote but don't remeber the sequence.

Thanks in advance

Steve

I called B&O USA

1. System must be in standby.
2. Hold down the timer button on the transceiver.
3. While pointing a Beolink 1000 remote at the transceiver push the AV button.
4. The mute button should blink once confirming the Powerlink jacks are now active and the speakerlink jacks are inactive.

You may have talked to Dave Kmiec when you called B&O; the font of all obscure knowledge Danish.

This whole obscure "press this, then this sequence" progamming thing is one of the many reasons B&O has not prospered in the custom installation boom. It depresses me in a way; I sold a great deal of B&O gear and liked it. Well built, lasts a long time, good support from the B&O of America crowd. Why could they not wake up and start making things we can sell?

I did speak to Dave. I haven't spoken to him in a long time since the first company I worked for dropped them circa 1991. Back then the stuff was fun compared to what was available at the time.

I think their biggest downfall is how difficult it is to integrate with other products, and B&O wiring won't support any other system.

Just my 2 cents

Steve
