I recently bought a second hand 2chip DLP Projector (Vidikron Helios). I haven't got any manuals, and I'm quite a novise regarding video signals.
Can somebody please help me?
I would like to use it for entertainment (Video, DVD, PS/2 and satelite rec.)
My DVD is an regular Teac DV3000.
Surroundreceiver Outlaw 1050
Sony PS/2
SVHS Videomachine from Thomson (RCA)
How should I connect this together and against the DLP to get the best result?

S-Video from Outlaw monitor out to projector
S-video from VCR out to Outlaw Video 1 play
S-video from VCR in to Outlaw Video 1 rec
S-video from Playstation (may need to buy the correct adapter) to Video 2
S-video from DVD to Outlaw DVD (for convenience)
YPrPb from DVD direct to projector (for performance)
You mentioned satellite, but did not say if it was standard def or high def. If standard, you could route it into a video or RF input on the VCR or replace the PS2 with the DSS receiever and put the PS2 into the VCR. If high def, then you will need to connect it to the VGA input on the projector. If the receiver does not have a VGA output, you will need to transcode its YPrPb output to VGA or purchase a YPrPb switcher.

In Norway (europe) we are using this terrible Scart connectors.
what kind of signals are the YPrPb? Are they the same as RGB?

YPrPb=component video. When you refer to RGB is it just that or RGBHV?

RGBHV
The Vidikron Helios Projector have inputs:
Composite
Y/C
Computer
RGBHV (Non interlaced?)
My DVD has a Euro scart wich includes RGB, composite, Chroma and luminans.
Are there a way to transfer RGB to RGBHV?
