I am an elan dealer installer and have a customer that is interested in lighting control as well as whole house audio. Is there any system you guys would recommend for lighting control? I have done a lot of elan and Niles whole house audio systems, but have yet to delve into lighting control. Thanks for your input.

It really depends on the applicaiton, be it retrofit or new construction. In new constuction, Cresron makes whole house audio and lighting control systems and they integrate easily with other systems such as HVAC and security. Lutron homeworks is also a great system for new construction. For retrofit applications, Lutron Radio Ra is a good robust system for lighting control

We use Vantage lighting control systems and they interface very well with an Elan system. Easy to program and set-up.

Either one of the big three (LiteTouch, Lutron or Vantage) are safe bets for quality products that have been integrated with ELAN. LiteTouch offers a lifetime warranty on all parts for the original buyer of the new home.

You might want to consider Centralite Systems, VIP partner for Elan, great company to work with and a reliable product.
