I'm still not sure if that would pass copyright protection. I am no expert on this by all means.
Thundercats vs. 39centstamp

What if we lose the cat logo and just use a rat to represent a trunk slammer? ciats.org is available. Thats supposed to be a tiny plasma TV :).

Thats a good logo. The cats chase rats theme sticks IMO. This would be a great sticker to throw on the truck. Maybe someday a patch that can be put beside the cedia installer patch (that I've still never found a spot for)...

AVExpressions mentioned cats.jobs but its one of those crazy $150 a year domains and its not even a dotcom.
"Cats" and anything with the word in it is a tough domain to get. What about "stop trunk slamming.com" or something like that?

Craftsmen Against Trunk Slammers???
Custom Installers sounds good to me though too. So tough to choose.

I swear this did not have an apostrophe in it the first time I looked at it. I must have been tired. Take out the apostrophe and you're good to go, I say. There's no point trying to say we're better than they are, then starting out with stupid grammar mistakes. Some people notice the first time. Not me, apparently! The one in Post 25 is right -- no apostrophe. On May 12, 2009 at 03:10, 39 Cent Stamp said...

I just printed the 200dpi logo in EBG's post above and the it looks pretty darn good with my $80 cheapo HP all in one. At 6' away you lose focus on the "CUSTOM INSTALLERS AGAINST TRUNK SLAMMERS" part but you can still see the rat and obviously the C.A.T.S lettering can be seen a mile away. I like this logo a lot and it will probably work well in print or online but maybe we should change how it looks for a tshirt. How about this one? BTW.. this image is printer ready for anyone who wants make a t-shirt at home. I would love to see a pic of it if you do :).

The only problem with making a tshirt from any of the print shops I know of, is for screen printing, they charge a minimum. The setup fees are rather pricey. This is why my company shirts were always embroidered. The embroidery guys are less expensive, for a small quantity.
If we made say 200 of these shirts, it would make sense with a screen print.
You will need a photoshop file that is unlocked
Most screen print shops will only have a 4 color press, which in this case would not be a problem.
I can have some made, and if you want one, just send me a paypal..? or visa versa

I bet you could pay your CEDIA trip if you packed a backpack full of t-shirts and sold them at the show for $50 each...
