My company is pondering software to standardize our inventories and projects. Is there a good software program out there that is based on our industry. Something that helps the bidding process all the way to the final installation? Helps sales and techs alike? Thanks for any info you can offer..

Take a look at [Link: d-tools.com], this software package is directed at the custom install industry, interfaces with windows office application and Quickbooks for accounting and invoicing etc, it is piggy backed onto Visio for drawing and importing AutoCad files, excellent product.

Check Horizon-software it might be more what you are looking for. It is compatible with QuickBooks Pro also.
