I have a client who would like to install 2 Panasonic CT36HX42 televisions in the same cabinet and use them simultaneously. Problem is, both units have the same remotes and will both respond to the same commands when being used.
My client is not open to using 2 different models. Does anyone know if these TV's can have the IR codes changed like some satellite receivers? Any other ideas to solve this problem? As a side note..I'm using a Pronto TSU3000 to control this system.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Use 2 RF receivers with each device set to a different channel.

use an MX 800, and set tv1 to IR output 1, and tv2 to IR output 2, with both tv's being set to RF instead of IR

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |

Thought I responded to this yesterday.. Weird.....
You only need one RF receiver, Control one IR, and one RF.
RT-8 is overkill and is a pain to program.. Every utton ends up being a macro
(Now, if you were doing 8 Panasonic TV's its worth it, but two can be handled with a single RF reciver)
