Customer has a bar is trying to run HDTV to projectors. From Zenith HD SAT to Sony pro. projector it is almost 100 foot run.
1. If you want to paint a screen on the wall what kind of paint do you use?
2. is 100 feet to long, running 100feet RG6 Quad, Copper conductor wire to a SVGA in conversion into projector, is this going to work.
3. Customer wants to run 12 projectors, 6 Sat boxes is their a splitter box for HDTV component cables to watch same thing on 2 tv's off one box

1. I used Behr UltraPure flat white. Goo Systems is considered to be the cat's pajamas.

2. You might be better off converting to RGB near the equipment, and using RG-59's for RGB/HV.

3. Yes, you can get component splitters, and a lot of other distribution equipment; explore Audio Authority, and look all around, in the pro area, too.

I agree with Larry on converting to RGB near the source, or even better, using HD receivers which output RGB.

However, I tend to favor a high-quality prefab cable such as the CTLF3VGAMM from L-Com for the run from your distribution amps to the projectors. They're readily available in lengths of 100, 150 and 200 feet, and the signal quality is superb when coupled with a good distribution amp.

Yes, they're more expensive than cutting RG59 from the spool on the truck and terminating it at the site. However, in many cases the higher cost pays off in ease of installation, testing, and post-install support.

Hope this helps.
