Dealer and Custom Installer Special Remote Functions: For Rear Projection TVs and LCD Direct View TVs Model Years 1999 through 2004 Procedure to program the remote for special direct functions: 1) Set the layer select switch at the top to the TV position. 2) Press and hold the POWER button. While holding the POWER button, use the number buttons to enter the code 090. The following buttons will change functions: Button Function Single Press Functions POWER power ON only. STOP power OFF only. PAUSE AV Reset (resets audio and video adjustments - same as front panel). Dual Press Functions INPUT or DEVICE Used in combination with number buttons or other direct access buttons shown below for direct input selection 1 Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select INPUT 1. 2 Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select INPUT 2. 3 Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select INPUT 3. 4 Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select INPUT 4. 5 Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select COMPONENT 1 or DVD (depends on model). 6 Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select COMPONENT 2. SQV Used with INPUT or DEVICE to select INPUT 5 or STB or MONITORLINK (depends on model). QV Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select VGA or PC or PC 1 (depends on model). PIP CH up Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select ANT-A. PIP CH down Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select ANT-B. PIP or PIP/POP Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select ANT-DTV or INPUT DTV (depends on model). PIP INPUT or PIP DEVICE Used with INPUT or DEIVCE to select INPUT-DTV (effective on all integrated and upgradeable models). Procedure for direct input selection: 1) Press INPUT (up) or DEVICE (up). 2) Within a few seconds, press the number button or direct access button that corresponds to the desired input as shown in the chart above. IMPORTANT: When using this remote as an original source remote to program a “learning” remote or Home Automation control system, the INPUT or DEVICE button does not send a signal. This button is used simply to prepare the remote to send the correct input signal when the following number or other specified button is pressed. Procedure to return the remote to normal consumer functions. 1) Set the layer select switch at the top to the TV position. 2) Press and hold the POWER button. While holding the POWER button, use the number buttons to enter the code 000 for standard TVs or code 935 for NetCommand® TV functions. Note: The Component Video Input is not available as a direct access input on the following models: VS-45605, VS45607, VS-50605, VS-50607, VS-50705, VS-50707, VS-55705, VS-55707, VS-60607, VS-60705, VS-60707, VS-70705, VS70707 Note: The following model TV does not respond to the direct access functions listed above: WD-65000 Note: The applicable remote controls are all TV remotes for models introduced since 1999 however not all remotes support all of the above listed functions. Some of the 1999 remotes support only the functions applicable to the TV model the remote control came with.
