I have a room where we can't use In-ceiling or In-wall speakers due to some very ornate furnishings.
As they can't even go in the bookcase due to the look of the room the only real option appears to be on top of the bookcase hidden from view.
The room is primarily background sound, Does anyone have any suggestions for a speaker that is discreet and will work well on top of the bookcase that will fire up and reflect off the ceiling.
Thanks.

We've done this with A/D/S/ L310's for this in the past, but it is really only recommended for background music. It would sound really poor for anything other than that.

Any small speaker will do. Just make sure it isn't ported on the back which will be the down side in this application

This sounds like a job for...
BOSE!*
Finally, a decent use for a speaker with no bandwidth.
*Edit: I get VB and HTML mixed up sometimes.

BOSE! Absolutely, We could even use that gorgeous wireless touchpanel they do instead of the nasty Crestron ones we have specced! Sorted.

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |
