OK, I purchased this AMX grey scale (VPT-GS) remote unit (2nd,3rd,4th hand?) from a flea market and thought I got a super deal. But guess what, it wasn,t working --- but I fixed it..OK great! Now if I had some sort of software to program it, I would have it made! One thing occured to me, what if the unit is HOT! So I am afraid to ask the manufacture for software in case they ask for the serial #. Is there any other software that can program this unit ??? Can anyone help me here P L E A S E .......... Thanks..... Packrat

IR control is Very limited with the Viewpoint panels. You really should have a Processor and RF gateway.
You need to get TPDesign3 for the Panel and the Processor can be programmed with Axcess or Netlinx Studio depending on which processor you have (Actually, Netlinx Studio 2 will program almost every AMX/PANJA processor other than Landmark... Unless you have an AMX Emulation card in the Landmark Frame......)
These programs can be downloaded from The AMX Website, You do have to register however... I Dont think there is a requirement to be a dealer to register....

I took your advice and popped over to the AMX website, but it looks like you need to be a dealer to get any downloads of software.
