I was searching for information on a Yamaha RX-V1070 when I ran across this web page:

[Link: ir.premisesystems.com]

with this note:
Premise Systems, A Lantronix Company, provides these IR codes as a convenience. Please be aware that the codes have not been tested by Premise, and we do not warrant their performance. Please report problems to Premise Support.

I have never heard of these folks before. Has anybody been using them as an IR code source? Any comments?

For that matter, although I will be going back to google for more information, can anybody give me a quick precis on the Yamaha RX-V1070?

Thanks --
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I've used the premise library before. They do a PC Based Home automation system that used Pronto Hex for IR drivers so most of the codes are pretty clean. They are poorly organized and most of what is there is also in the files section here.

Thanks. I wasn't looking for Yam codes, just wanted to know what a customer's old 1070 receiver was capable of; since I could not find it on the Yam site, I went looking elsewhere and thought it might be nice to share this other source of information.

Glad to know that most of what they have is here, because I LOVE this site.
