Hello! We are now offering custom remote programming services exclusively for Home Theater Master remote controls, particularly the MX-700, MX-800 & the upcoming MX-3000.

These programming services are availble to both end-users and also to custom installers who would like to inexpensively subcontract their remote programming to a Home Theater Master professional programmer. Installers - start saving your time and money with this service. The best part is...all pricing is flat rate per device and per macro. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

We have worked very closely with Universal Remote Control / Home Theater Mastrer in learning all of the capabilities and methods of programming these remotes since they have been in beta testing.

If you are interested, please send an e-mail to: [email protected]

Thank you,
The Control Remotes Team

So, you want people to pay you to load software, use dragon drop, and program a macro? Especially when you need to contact UR to send you discretes?

The only value I would see in paying someone to program a remote would be to do custom layouts (TSU 3000 and +), hex conversion, and a complete component library. Good Luck.

Oh, I apologize for the advertisement posting. I did not realize that installers could not post their offerings here. I will move future postings to the appropriate area.

For being someone professing themselves smart with programming remotes you sure are oblivious with common sense with respect to advertising and this forum.

Programming an MX-700 CORRECTLY IS a skill that many consumers and inexperienced custom installers are sorely in need of. IMO he is offering a 100% legitimate and needed service (assuming he does a good job) regardless of whether his advertising post was appropriate. Whether he will find enough customers to pay him to do it, I don't know (what the demand will be).

I agree with QQQ - the guy was apparently looking to offer a service to help people and make a little money. I am personally not offended, nor do I find reason to be. He's obviously a newbie and apologized for not posting to the appropriate place.

If you guys were new, would you want help and guidance using the site or people who make you feel unwelcome in this (very useful) community? It's repeat visitors who help keep this service online and free, so we should do what's best for the site as a whole.
