Good or bad for their image / business?
As much as I liked seeing the one lucent dossier girl slip out of her top, what's with the whole cirque du soleil thing in the pumpkin patch?
Thoughts?

No one getting laid has ever tried to figure out how to build a vest out of dynamite and blow up a bus.

As I mentioned in the CEDIA thread above, it was an embarrasment, it was a joke, it was just lame. One more reason to avoid letting J.B. get so much as a single dime from me.

They had no problem attracting people when the kegs were tapped.

You realize that next year they will have a 6'X6' booth with 2 guys sitting there handing out literature right? Isn't that the way it goes? Something over the top and rediculous one year and then a fold out table with free keyrings the next?

As a new speakercraft dealer I received their dealer promotional poster for the CEDIA booth. as I unrolled this fullsize poster complete with scary looking bizarro's in some macabre circus two things crossed my mind...
1) Am I supposed to proudly display this ridiculous piece of art in my showroom or drop it the local tat parlor?
2) How much money was spent on a marketing firm to design the concept, hire the actors, makeup artists, staging, photographer, printing, shipping. An easy $30K.
In the garbage it went. Stupid. Jeremy, we get it. Your a maverick. But put your money into some R&D for slick KP's and control features. Look professional. No one's impressed with the renegade persona anymore. MAKE IT ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT, NOT YOUR PERSONALITY. Because in the end I don;t care about that.

I'm surprised they didn't set up a tatoo parlor as well!

It was weird... I guess they did not have much in the way of anything substantial to show they had to get people to the booth somehow. We are Speakercraft dealers and I just shook my head and continued on.
First thing I thought was someone has done too much LSD...
