OK so Vudu laid off a bunch of employees today. I know even some of the guys that started it are now gone! Give them a call.......Voicemail....voicemail.....voicemail never get anyone on the phone anymore. No longer have any tech support at all....please email us and maybe someone will reply is the recording before it hangs up on you. And the last sales guy I met from VUDU was a complete moron or........ Hope he got axed today! Well I hate apple tv but at least they have more than 4 employees!!! Hope someone can get this category right since nobody has yet....

Vudu has not gone anywhere. There was a thinning out today most likely due to pleasing investors but they are in no way shape or form going out. Vudu has some very sharp people working for them and unfortunately one of those people left today as a part of the thinning. He will be missed.

Well they have about 90 days left before the liquidate or sell out!
This came from inside the walls of vudu.
Every movie studio currently is upset with them because they have not sold even a fraction of what they planned to sell!
Matter of time for them and the fuse it lit
Even porn will not save this boat now...the iceberg cut a big hole and Leonardo is not on board to even make it a swan song hit!
Nobody thought HD DVD would die either with millions behind it.

Um Anthonyz it is a joke.....I have a really bad sense of humor....I think Im funny but I am not really.
A few video companies and both of them were server or VOD type companies and one speaker company. Trust me bro where I am going at this point you wont need to worry about buying anything from me....."is that a size 10 or 11 sir hey AL grab me the brown ones on sale in size 11"

Hey Mark, nice to see another someone from the Bay Area...So were you laid off too?
I bet mark isn’t' even your real name, you just set that email account up today to get this post. LOL. Not that there is a problem with that.
Anyway, that sucks if they go under, we just signed on about a month ago, but have yet to sell one. Apple TV doesn't have the control features, but the music and photos make it. Plus Media Center Extenders are easier now and the PPV features have promise to improve and offer a more Vudu ATV "like" experience.
I think that if Vudu could get the NAS add-on available along with a client player, so that everything could be stored centrally and served throughout the home, and a way to RIP existing movies they would really have something, like a scalable KS or Escient System.
