A client's son is putting 6 of these in his home and so Dad wants one too.

I can't find out who the company is. I am going to advise against a no-name super high tech device, but just hoped to get a little info on who might make this.

For a 42", the price is about $3800, to give you an idea.

Thanks!

Sounds cheap w/ built in NTSC tuner. Dont know who is making the panel. But @3800.00 x 6, sounds like he's being penny wise. I always tell my clients there's no free lunch. You always get what you pay for.

good luck

V, Inc. is the company that makes the Vizio plasmas, as well as the Bravo D1 DVD player that upscales DVDs to 720p and 1080i. They are an offshoot of Princeton Graphics and owned by the same person, William Wang.

I've seen their plasmas and they look pretty good. Reliability might be questionable however.

Go to www.vinc.com for more info.

I just saw the first one at a very pricy remodel, where the owner is indeed being cheap here and there after spending hundreds of thousands on other details -- such as antique double doors that open and close electronically....

Its menu system is squirrely. How often do you have to read the instructions to figure out how to autoprogram cable on a TV? Its speakers sound like crap, but that is to be expected. Unfortunately, it was a last minute addition out by the barbecue (you read that correctly) and we only have cable going to it.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Thing like that make no sense to me. I had a customer like that once. Doing a complete remodel, spent 3mil on building the pool , yet wanted to cheap out on the plasma screen.

Doesnt make sense
