I was wondering if anyone knew of a component to composite down scaler?

Might help if we had the application.... I have yet to see a device with COmponent output that doesnt also have a Composite or S Output.

Yes, It's called a Scan Convertor. But, not sure why you want to do this? You could probably use a multi-format scaler for what your trying to do (the best I could think, trying to read minds is tough)

Extron makes the best ones... but none of them are really that good.

Impaqt, way more than half of the devices I have seen with component and composite outputs will only send out one or the other, not both.

Which means, dear mredhead, GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND TELL US WHAT THE HECK EQUIPMENT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. I can take my time to find you a GREAT component to composite converter, at probably a few thousand dollars, which will answer your question because IT IS TOO VAGUE. But which will probably waste my time and yours because it is even just slightly possible that all you need to do is go into the programming/setup on your device and you will have both. How would we know? You did not give us enough information to do anything more than go on a rant! ! ! ! ! !
