Suggestions for a small low poweramp to take in line level output from a plasma set in bed ? Will use a "pushbutton a/b Decora " switch in two gang box that also houses volume control..volume control is presently sourced from main audio sys. in den...just want to hear tv audio through in ceilings sometimes...nothing spectacular... by the way sanus new universal plasma brackets are great

Niles and Sonance both make small amps specifically for this purpose. Niles is the TVS-20, and Sonance is the ASAP-1 (Or is it ASAP-2 now?)
anyway, theyse amps have built in auto A/B swithes so you dont have to hit a button.
otherwise, look at t aParasound Z-AMp. Tiny amp, but sounds great.

Go with the Niles TVA-20. Will def. work for what you want. Has A/B priority and built in 20 watts per channel. Here's a link [Link: nilesaudio.com]

I quit using the TVA-20 after too many adjustment service calls. While they work just fine in the ambience of the day we found that in the dead quiet of night they become a clicking nightmare. There is a fine tune adjustment that sets the audio sense threshold for the local source. When the volume is brought down really low at night so as not to disturb anyone else in the house or a sleeping partner it continuely drops out during silent passages in the program material. If it had a silent solid state audio relay with very quick response it would be acceptable I would guess. I had one myself for awhile but got rid of it.

NEVER had the above mentioned problem...using numerous differnet configs...guess if I did though, the BUILT in video sync would be the answer....
