I'm looking for some feedback on what 55" hi def TV's you folks are using that are easy to integrate (meaning discrete power and input codes). I won't mention any names but the one I've been using is a nightmare to integrate so I'm just trying to see what other options I might have to work with. How are the Mitsus? They seem to have a decent picture.

Discrete input brands include Mits, RCA, Toshiba, & Sony. I am sure there are other brands, but I am familiar with these.

I won't touch the RCA train wreck and I find the Toshiba to be way to BLUE but Mits and Sony are a good bet. Thanks

The next run of Samsung DLP sets(due out now and currently shipping in various places) does have discrete power and input commands. If you have one of the old HLM or HLN sets without the discretes, Samsung was offering an upgrade to the set to give it those commands. Samsung is currently upgrading old sets as we speak and the commands have been tested and verified.

I agree with you on the RCA's but you were asking about discrete availability, and for all of their TV's faults, they have had discretes for power and inputs for years. Their biggest problem right now is having DSI as their distributor.
