Has anyone found a reasonably-priced component video switcher that is IR controllable and has discrete inputs? I would prefer to have 4 inputs, but can live with three. Please share any experiences with these switchers, good or bad. I appreciate your assistance.

I install such a switch in the UK. It has 4 local and 2 remote AV inputs and transmits over CAT5. No discreet codes, but it directs its IR passthrough to the zone your in.

Have a look at www.singlepointmedia.co.uk.

These people make one. No experience with it, but it looks OK.

Thanks for the responses so far. I have looked at all of the websites suggested. I am hoping more of you have had some recent experience with these switches. The Inday switch appears to do everything we need. At it's low price, I may try it and let you know how it works out. I will wait a couple of days for a few more responses.

Thanks a lot to those who have responded so far.

I've used the Inday switch as well as Audio Authority, Key Digital, extron and others. The Inday and audio Authority can't be beat for their price range. AVToolbox makes an inexpensive one as well. I haven't tried it yet though.

I have used the Inday for a few of my clients. Descrete codes and even a CCF for Prontos. Basic , but works.

Recently used extron's in several different applications, worked really well, but I'm sure they cost alot!

First of all, thanks again for all of the input provided. I ordered the Inday switcher, installed it and it works perfectly.
It is a component video switcher with four inputs, discrete codes per input, IR control, remote control included. They even have a CCF for Pronto on their website. All for $150.00. What a deal!

Thanks again, Terry
