OK, I know this is hard. Try to remember from now on. Discrete is not spelled descreet. It is not spelled disecrete. It is not spelled discreate.

It is spelled D I S C R E T E

Is it really that hard?

Surely, if you can read well enough to navigate to this site, you can remember this?

Maybe...

yeah, that bugs the hell out of me, too. I just didn't figure writing a note would do anything to help, so I just decided to be discreet and let it go.

Moving on, what are you going to say to the guy who opened the thread, "Anyone looking for a salesmen?"
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Yeah,
It almost seems as if enough people spell it
one way it becomes the norm - correct or not.

I even found myself adopting the the spelling of color and theater when producing quotes.
Instead of colour and theatre - the way I was taught over here (uk).

Of course HTML spelling doesn't help.

How about the ones who say component video need 50 mHz bandwith. 50mHz is a long way from the 50 MHz required.
