Anyone ever had this happen?

When I turn the dtc-100 off, it loses it's memory... Does it have a battery backup? If so, could the battery have gone dead?

Other than the memory loss, it's working great in Santa Fe, pulling in HD signals from Albuquerque, 50 miles away...

bringing this one back from the past...

I just got a call from the customer with the RCA DTC-100... He was wondering why it was searching for signal when he doesn't have a dish at that location...

Apparently, the unit has lost it's memory again...

Does anyone know if it has a battery backup for in case the power gets cut off? This unit is in a vacation home, receiving OTA signals only...

It's an 18 hour drive for me to go fix it every time...

One more time. I guess 3rd time trying to post is a charm.

Try a UPS backup. Worked for us. Haven't had to go back there since we put it in 9 months ago.
