I have a group of components hooked up through an RF transmitter and I need to hook up the IR sensors to the components. If I use the double sided tape it doesn't stick for too long before falling off. Now there is very weak and unstable scotch tape on the IR sensors and I need something that will stick and not affect the IR eye.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I first clean the area with isopropal alcohol and then use a drop of hot glue. They still come off but not as much.

Hope this helps

Use clear silicone, works great. Hold in place for a few hours with electical tape.

Why not take it to the next level and open up the gear and hide the emitter inside. It makes for a very clean install and you don't have to worry about them falling off.

My two.

can also use flasher covers, if the manufacturer for your flashers makes them. also eliminates cross-crontrol between products of same brand.
