The factory is looking for feedback from anyone who has installed a Home Theater Master MX-800 and MRF-200 RF base station.

Please post here, email me or call me directly.

Now is the time to get in any changes that you think should be made to this new product. I need responses from those of you who have installed this product!
Best Regards,
Eric

Eric,

Have them change the RF Base to use standard size Xantech IR Emitters. The jacks and the emitters included are smaller than the industry standard and force us to stock theirs or stock adapters. (I think they are 2.5mm and Xantech are 3.5mm)

We have only played with our initial unit briefly but it seems to work well. Should be a great system.

Eric,

As a beta tester I BEGGED them not to use the non-standard IR emitters. My long list of reasons for not using 2.5mm fell on deaf ears. So I find it hard to believe that now that the unit is in production and shipping that they are going to change anything other than MX Editor patches.

I ordered an MX800 to evaluate for future installs. When I got my MX800 i was disappointed to see the non standard emitters. On the box it says "custom line" if they want custom installers to embrace the product they need to listen a little better. I dont want to have to stock another emitter on my trucks.

I agree on the emitters issue. I can't imagine what they were thinking. I honestly have no intention of bringing in the 800's until the emitter changes.
