Should I be concerned selling HD sets without DVI connectors or Dsub15 on them?
As I understand it these connectors are an attempt to mollify the studios HD copyright security issues. The signal is encoded and scrambled before being output via these connectors and then unscrambled when arriving at the display device.
My concern is if all new products use DVI these new DVD, Sat receivers and digital VCR's will not be able to connect to sets not equiped with the DVI connectors.
If an adapter is produced for the older sets would it not defeat the security feature of these connectors?

I haven't been concerned with DVI unless it's a DLP that is a true digital set. I may get burned but time will tel.
