I was wondering if anyone knows of a HD DirecTv satellite reciever that can send video threw both component video and coax simutaneosly. I have a customer that wants to be able to watch HD in their greatroom, & watch the same signal slaved off the greatroom reciever in the kitchen. There is 1 coax between the greatroom & kitchen.
Any suggestions?

I read that the Samsung SIR-TS160 receiver will output both HD(component or DVI) and standard video(composite or S-Vid) at the same time. However, I don't know if that includes the RF output. You can read about this model in the June(current) issue of Home Theater Magazine or on their website. hometheatermag.com
Hope it helps, Chris

The Samsung SIR-TS160 does output HD(RGB, DVI, or component) and RF(as well as S-video and composite) at the same time(digital audio and analog as well). It also has discrete on and off commands.
