I have installed a Niles ditributed video system and the end of a couple of the longer runs seem a little grainy. Niles told me I need a video amplifier and they don't currently make one. Does anyoen have any info on a company that does or an old standby people use for this? thanks in advance for your time.
One thing I have learned in this industry. It is easier to pull a wire than it is to push one.

Pro Video makes a COMPOSITE video distribution amplifier that allows you variably increase gain to compensate for longer runs.

Channel Vision makes RF amps, which will not work on a COMPOSITE signal.

Pretty hard on that guy, Channel Vision does make baseband video amplifiers, just not that many of them. I could swear they made an S-Video amp/splitter as well, but I can't seem to run it down at the moment. If its just a little bit of boost, I've had some success with the old Radio Shack A/V amplified splitter, the new model is 15-1172 (they've added S-Video), but if you are looking for the real deal Pelco EA2010, (adjustable gain and equalization).

FRED,
that's CAPITAL, not CAPITOL.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
